Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for a 13-week assignment starting from October 6, 2026, in a pediatric hospital setting. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts and requires candidates to be available to work two of the three holiday periods during the assignment. The position involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients up to 18 years of age within a 50-mile radius of the primary facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-Hour Days, 36 Hours per Week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure; 2 years of Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Float: Float rotation may be required; personnel may be reassigned to other practice areas within their clinical competence within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment facility
- Weekend Requirement: Staffing needs of the unit will determine weekend shifts
- Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work two of the three designated holidays
- Additional Information: No Request for Time Off (RTO) approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests from seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
