Description

Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) currently seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a specialized team in a dedicated ICU setting. Located in a healthcare facility, this role involves providing advanced patient care to adult and geriatric populations, including post-cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients, transplant recipients, and patients requiring ECMO support. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment focused on critical care and advanced life support procedures.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: 2 years of clinical experience in critical care, certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, proficient in accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, management of dysrhythmias, and post-cardiac surgery patient care, with experience charting in Epic electronic medical record system.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ECMO support, Impella, VADs, CRRT, post-transplant care, TAVR, and complex cardiovascular procedures.
Additional Information: Floating within scope to meet department needs may be required; no on-call requirement; local candidates accepted, with a 75-mile radius restriction for local travelers. The assignment is scheduled from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026, with a start date of 09/21/2026. The assignment involves caring for post-cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients, ECMO support (VV and VA), and recovery designated for vascular and structural procedures.
