Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is located in a busy ER environment. This role involves providing high-quality acute care to patients in the emergency setting, including working with advanced medical equipment and adhering to clinical protocols. The position offers a dynamic work setting suited for adaptable nursing professionals ready to manage diverse patient cases.

Job Details:

• Location: The healthcare provider is seeking candidates for an ER nurse role in a facility featuring 11 beds and a multidisciplinary team. The unit operates around the clock with staffing including RNs, a medic, a medical doctor, radiology technician, and security personnel.
• Schedule: Shift time is 12 hours per day, with minimum weekly hours of 48.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS certifications (can be provided within 30 days), CPI Blue Card certification, at least 1 year of current acute care emergency department RN experience, ability to work mid-shift or night shift, and the willingness to float between ER departments.
• Preferred Qualifications: ER charge nurse experience and flexible availability for various shifts.
• Responsibilities: Performing EKGs, IV insertions, medication administration, conscious sedation, and wound care.
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes GE monitors and Baxter pumps, with an EMR system based on Meditech. Staff are known for their positive, flexible attitudes and team-oriented approach.
