Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a comprehensive healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, with a focus on patient safety, clinical accuracy, and efficient response to urgent medical situations.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Emergency Room RN with a 12-hour shift schedule including rotating shifts, working a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role involves supporting patient care activities in a Level 2 trauma setting with 27 beds and a variety of patient diagnoses.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of ER experience is required.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a schedule of at least 36 hours weekly.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with a score of 90% or higher to continue employment. Floating is not required. Upfront RTO (Request for Time Off) of 7 days or less per 13-week contract is needed; additional RTO will not be approved. Candidates need a valid drivers license to verify distance from the facility, which has a 50-mile radius restriction. Artificial nails are prohibited in patient-care departments. Self-scheduling weekends involve every third weekend with shift options including nights and days.
