• Position: MS RN (Medical Surgical Registered Nurse)
• Location: Marion, IL
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7:00 pm 7:30 am)
• Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with some holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Certifications: Active Illinois RN License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education: Associate Degree or Certificate (Preferred: Bachelors Degree)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience; charting experience required with EPIC system proficiency
• Responsibilities include providing patient care on a 36-bed medical-surgical unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:5 or 1:4 during staffing shortages. The nurse must demonstrate confidence, resilience, ability to manage change effectively, and social skills.
• Unit features include a focus on orthopedic care and medical patient management.
• Additional Information: The unit operates with a staffing model that can vary based on CNA availability; scrub colors are navy blue.
• Interview days are scheduled from Monday through Friday, with MSP interview types.
• This position is subject to a 40-mile radius rule, requiring local candidates only.
