Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse The healthcare provider located in the region is seeking a skilled OR nurse to join the team for a contract assignment. The role involves supporting operative procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring readiness of the operating room environment. The position requires a licensed registered nurse with experience in intraoperative patient care.
Job Details
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, with at least 3 years of experience. Preferably holding a BSN.
- Required certifications: PALS, BLS, and ACLS.
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with on-call duties consisting of 4 shifts of 12 hours in an 8-week schedule period.
- Responsibilities include scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures, preparing the operating room, assembling equipment and supplies, and serving as a communication liaison with patients, families, and the surgical team.
- Experience in the operating room specialty is required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must possess a current license to practice as a registered nurse in their state/district.
