Job Summary
Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse - Oakland, CA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric oncology and hematology patients within an inpatient setting. The position offers night shifts and requires the ability to float to other healthcare facilities within the region.

Job Details

Certifications: CA RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS), American Pediatric Oncology Nurses (APHON) certification, Chemotherapy (Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation - ONCC)
Education Requirements: BSN or higher, CA RN License in hand
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Oncology/Inpatient Oncology, experience with Epic electronic health record, and pediatric oncology patient care.
Schedule: Night shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional Information: Must be able to float to other healthcare facilities within the region. Candidate should have strong experience managing ports, administering chemotherapy, and working with pediatric oncology patient populations.
Submittal Requirements: Two references from the most recent employer, proof of CA RN license, and documentation of previous pediatric oncology experience.
