Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a hospital surgical setting in North Carolina. The role involves coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or in one of the compact states by the day of clinical care. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
• Schedule: Shift - 4x10 weekdays. Minimum hours per week: 40.0.
• Additional Information: The OR department comprises 10 operating rooms and an endoscopy suite, with experience preferred in orthopedic, total joints, spine, urology, endoscopic, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, and robotics cases. Competency in eye cases is a plus. The position includes on-call responsibilities during weekends and weeknights as specified. The candidate must assist in surgical procedures, monitor patient safety, and document care in electronic medical records.
