Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and 0 years of experience.
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
• The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, formulate plans of care including discharge planning, and execute nursing interventions based on physician orders and evidence-based practices.
• Responsible for documenting all aspects of patient care accurately, timely, and according to policy.
• Participates in education, role development, and mentoring of facility personnel, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• May supervise staff and work flow within the department as needed.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards, promotes patient safety, and provides spiritual support in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• Requires physical agility, proper body mechanics, and effective communication skills.
• All clinical responsibilities are performed in a typical direct patient care environment, with PPE precautions necessary due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
