Telemetry Nurse (RN) Nights Austin, TX. This contract position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 34-bed telemetry unit within a healthcare facility. The role requires evaluating and monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing respiratory needs, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: CONTRACT - RN - TELE 3S 13 weeks 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts. This unit handles cardiac patients with advanced respiratory needs, including oxygen management and advanced airway care. Typical procedures performed include stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management.
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; experience with Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation and Respiratory management; 0 years of experience required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be team players and ready to work in a unit that incorporates stress testing, cardiac procedures, and telemetry monitoring.
