Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Madison, WI. This role involves full-time day shifts in a multispecialty surgical environment, providing critical support in patient management and operative procedures. The position offers opportunities to participate in both circulating and scrub roles within a dynamic surgical team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Wisconsin or eligible for a compact license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience within the last 3 years in an operating room setting, and experience circulating in the OR.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multispecialty procedures, trauma level II experience, and proficiency with Epic charting system.
• Additional Information: The nurse will manage the overall operation of the surgical suite, assist with a variety of complex procedures including abdominal, gynecological, orthopedic, and other multispecialty surgeries. Must have recent experience in inpatient or ambulatory OR environments, with the ability to float as needed within the facility. Strict pass/fail telemetry testing, including adult and pediatric cardiac rhythm recognition, is required prior to start.
