Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care to newborns in a Level III NICU setting. The position requires adapting to a fast-paced environment with a focus on clinical excellence and adherence to hospital protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Level III NICU experience, current Indiana registered nurse license, BLS (American Heart Association), NRP certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float to age-appropriate Pediatric (Peds) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Unit notes include local rate considerations for clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles, and a call-off or cancellation policy allowing up to 24-hour notice per 13-week assignment period.
- Orientation is scheduled from Monday to Friday during the first week and Monday to Tuesday during the second week, with mandatory attendance for all seven days.
- The charting system used is EPIC.
- Bed size: 31 beds with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio.
- Dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs.
- No BSN required to submit.
- Willing to wait for license clearance.
