Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare organization. This position involves providing quality patient care, performing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will supervise clinical staff, deliver patient education, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum of two years bedside clinical experience highly desired; no specific experience requirement listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit is preferred.
• Additional Information: Performs timely nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission; develops and implements individualized care plans; participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning; maintains accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses; provides supervision and delegation to ancillary staff; promotes safety and participates in team building activities; seeks ongoing professional development; manages patient care in a cost-effective manner; assumes charge responsibilities post-orientation.
