Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor, typically in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves delivering patient-centered care in a specialty focused on rehabilitative services. The nurse will work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and promote positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NYS RN License; BLS certification; minimum 2 years RN experience; 2 years of rehabilitation and mechanical ventilation experience; 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem roles); relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program is considered for associate degree holders; specific to the specialty, experience in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week. Schedule runs from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, encompassing every other week ending day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills; EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating resource utilization, facilitating patient throughput, and documenting care accurately to meet regulatory standards. The position emphasizes patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development through ongoing education and active participation in clinical initiatives.
