Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) Edenton, NC. This position involves providing high-quality medical surgical care on a 36-hour per week schedule during night shifts. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and protocols, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment spans 13 weeks, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027. Candidates will work six weekend shifts within a six-week rotation.
• Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina license or compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, and the ability to read strips. A minimum of 19 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Must be able to read strips, work in scrubs (black or white), and comply with facility dress code. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
