Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Neurology Floor (MS NEURO) is seeking a qualified registered nurse for a travel assignment at a healthcare facility in Indiana. This position involves providing specialized care for post-operative spinal surgeries, neuro trauma patients, stroke, DKA, renal failure, and other complex diagnoses. The role requires critical thinking and keen neuro assessment skills to support higher acuity cases, including Level 2 trauma and post-ICU care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, at least 2 years of experience, certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (can be obtained during the first week of orientation).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro assessments and drain management.
• Float: Float to other med-surg or tele units may be required.
• Additional Information: The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extending. Travelers must attach all required licenses and certifications upon submission, and have a drivers license and permanent home address that match their ID. Candidates must be greater than 50 miles from the facility and local candidates are not accepted. Candidates will be scheduled for days shifts with 12-hour shifts and every other weekend work, start date 10/12/2026, end date 01/11/2027.
