Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Located in the region, this position involves evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. The RN assists physicians during examinations and procedures, performs patient tests, administers medications within the scope of practice, and educates patients and families. The role relies on experience and judgment to achieve clinical goals, with responsibilities across a wide spectrum of patient care tasks. The position requires flexibility to float between multiple facilities within the network.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Arizona nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with electronic medical records (Cerner experience required), ability to handle cardiac drips, and knowledge of procedures such as TAVRs and Watchman mitral clips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to work across the following facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita.
• Additional Information: The role is a contract position lasting from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027, with a 13-week assignment and a potential 48-hour guarantee. The RN will work six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule and should be comfortable working in a step-down unit slightly below ICU acuity.
