Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location unspecified. This position involves the delivery of acute nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires coordination of patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provides high-quality emergency nursing care, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of the nursing process, policies, and ethical standards. Responsible for prioritizing and critical thinking in a dynamic environment, ensuring effective communication and documentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Required Qualifications: Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification, STABLE certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, and a minimum of 2 years hospital nursing experience, including 1 year in emergency or critical care nursing. Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 18 years of age; must be legally authorized to work in the United States; must pass background and pre-employment drug screening.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The candidate must complete all licensure and certification requirements within specified timeframes post-hire. Must demonstrate a commitment to the organizations values, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to all safety and regulatory policies.
