Job Summary
The Infusion Nurse position is based in a healthcare facility specializing in infusion therapy. The role involves providing chemotherapy administration and oncology care, with experience in blood and marrow transplant (BMT) preferred. The position supports a dedicated team on a unit with 18 beds, ensuring quality patient care during scheduled days.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 10/12/2026 through 01/09/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification, minimum 12 years of nursing experience, proficiency in oncology and chemotherapy administration, BMT experience recommended, 2 years of relevant clinical experience, no travel experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood and marrow transplant (BMT), chemotherapy administration, oncology certification
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves working on a specialized infusion unit with an emphasis on oncology and chemotherapy care. Flexibility is limited as floating is very rare; otherwise, responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
