Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation (MS REHAB) on a nights shift at a healthcare facility. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services to patients experiencing life-changing events such as surgeries, strokes, and multi-trauma, focusing on improving functional gains and restoring baseline function. The position requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour nights shift, every other week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg or Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing; licensed to practice as an RN (must be willing to submit license for processing)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in MedSurg, Inpatient Rehab Nursing preferred but not required
• Float: Float rotation may be required if the unit is overstaffed for the shift
• Additional Information: The unit has a team-oriented culture with a focus on patient care involving frequent lifting and moving of patients. The unit staff includes charge nurses, nurse aides, and a rehab provider/PA available during daytime hours. The charting system used is EPIC.
• Special Notes: No telemonitoring on this unit. Shift includes weekend and holiday coverage, with a shared call or on-call responsibilities managed by other team members. The unit has a Level 2 trauma designation and consists of 15 beds, primarily with 5 patients per nurse.
