Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. This position involves providing specialized critical care within a mixed critical care unit that includes medical, cardiac, surgical, and neuro cases. The role requires adaptability to float to med-surge and emergency department for admission holds as needed, with a focus on adult cardiac and neuro patients requiring complex assessments and interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 3 years of ICU experience, preferred two or more years of ICU experience, current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification or familiarity.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience, advanced skills such as TNK for stroke, withdraw management for opioid use disorder (OUD) population, and bone marrow transplant (BMT) knowledge.
• Additional Information: Unit handles cases such as sepsis, ARDS, CKD, MOF, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and BMT complications. No trauma patients. No float rotation required. The role involves managing complex clinical situations with diverse patient populations, including neuro and cardiac patients.
