Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in an acute care environment with shifts scheduled during the day. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult patients in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to meet patient needs and promote positive outcomes.

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or equivalent, BLS certification; experience in a clinical setting within the past 12 months; applicable training and education for specific specialty areas; minimum one year of recent acute care experience in an adult unit
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing; professional certification; previous travel experience; Level I Trauma experience; large hospital experience; ability to float to other adult health units as needed
• Additional Information: Surge team assigned for a dedicated surge unit but may float to other adult health units at the Tucson Campus serving MS, PCU, or IMC patients as needed; possibility to float to South Campus but not the primary expectation. Previous experience in a large hospital setting and trauma units is preferred.
