Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Night Shift Location: unspecified. This position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of two years of experience in medical surgical, telemetry, or progressive care units. The RN will provide patient care across diverse populations including medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology, and must have experience with EPIC electronic medical record charting. This assignment involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week, with an expectation to float to other similar units as needed.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 2 years of RN experience minimum in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU; EPIC EMR/charting experience; at least 1 year of travel nursing experience; 1 year of level 1 adult trauma designated hospital experience or equivalent within last 5 years.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU, EPIC EMR/charting experience, minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience, at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last five years.
Additional Information: The RN will be assigned based on experience to the vacancy that best fits, with possible floating to other equivalent units as needed. The unit ratios are typically 1:5-6, with populations including medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology. The assignment start date is 11/08/2026 and end date is 02/06/2027.
