Job Summary:
Occupational Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare organization in a clinical setting. This role involves conducting nursing assessments of employees, developing and coordinating plans of care, providing first-aid and medical evaluations, and supporting employee health and safety initiatives. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in infection control activities, and contribution to departmental goals.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; licensed as RN in the State of California; current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards; minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months of Epic experience within the past year; four (4) years nursing experience, two (2) of which is in physical assessment, emergency/outpatient services, occupational health, or public health; knowledge of nursing care procedures, assessments, treatments, and techniques in accordance with written medical protocols; high level of positive interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, volunteers, physicians, and vendors.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred; Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification a plus.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing pre-placement physical assessments, return-to-work evaluations, ergonomic assessments, and participating in infection control surveillance activities. The RN will utilize clinical resources and referrals, monitor case progress, and contribute to health and safety education for employees. The position involves responsibilities in healthcare management, safety education, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
