Description

Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Intensive Care Float Colorado Springs. This healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Critical Care RN to provide patient care across multiple pediatric intensive care units. The position offers a 13-week assignment with a focus on pediatric critical care, requiring flexibility to float within designated units as needed.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 12-Hour Days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Schedule: Days, 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BSN required; Colorado RN license required; minimum of 1 year of pediatric critical care experience; Epic electronic medical records experience required; pediatric experience; prior travel experience; strong critical thinking and time management skills; team player, patient advocate, dependable, and flexible; certifications include BLS, PALS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), and NRP.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: No floating required for this assignment.
  • Additional Information: The assignment includes working every other weekend and being required to work two out of three observed holidays. RTO requests are limited to four days or less of total time off, with blackout dates from November 25 to November 27, December 23 to December 26, and December 30 to January 2. The organization may reassign staff within clinical competencies to support patient care needs, including areas within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment.
