Job Summary
OR Surgical Technician, located within a healthcare facility, supports the surgical team by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting during procedures. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and infection control.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a surgical technician.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, averaging 36 hours per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
• Additional Job Information:
  • Experience in trauma, robotics, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, urology, and LV1 trauma is preferred.
  • Must have experience with EPIC charting system.
  • Must possess a valid license to submit.
  • No float within the facility; if needed, float within Zone 3.
  • Required to work during the week of orientation in the state.
  • Shift cancellations up to four shifts per 13-week assignment are permitted by the hospital.
  • The role involves responding to call within 2 hours, with holiday or call requirements.
