Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Surgical Technologist position available in the healthcare provider organization. This role involves performing scrub duties and maintaining sterile supplies and technique in the operating room. The position supports surgical procedures related to labor and delivery, including assisting with patient preparation and providing sterile instrumentation.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program; at least 2 years of surgical technologist experience with strong OB background; 1 year of OB experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Skills & Experience: OB EXPERIENCE, STERILE TECHNIQUE, SURGICAL PATIENT PREPARATION, SURGICAL TECH EXPERIENCE, SCRUB DUTIES.
• Additional Skills: LABORATORY ANALYSIS, SPECIMEN HANDLING, CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN AN ACCREDITED HOSPITAL, CASE CARTS, INSTRUMENTATION, CARE FOR INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT.
• Required Certifications & Licensure: BLS - American Heart Association.
• Must be able to assist in managing specimens, preparing case carts, and ensuring sterile environments during surgical procedures related to labor and delivery.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
• The candidate must have DORA certification for this position.
• This role is scheduled for 12-hour shifts, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/06/2027.
