Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a non-profit community hospital is responsible for providing high-quality critical care to patients with neuro/spine conditions, pressors, and respiratory support needs. The role involves managing complex patient cases, performing advanced procedures, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols within a collaborative team environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Simplified clinical interview and unit final approval process required.
- Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS certifications; 2 years of ICU experience; minimum of 1 travel assignment completed; at least 2 years of relevant experience; ability to work nights, with shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Impella and/or IABP as proof of competency preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours minimum per week.
- Additional Information: Role involves caring for neuro/spine, pressor, and intubation patients, including procedures such as chest tubes, wound vacs, femoral arterial sheath monitoring, and managing high FiO2 and BiPAP needs. Competency in using ERIC electronic medical record system is required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all baseline qualifications and demonstrate relevant experience.
