Job Summary
This medical surgical floor registered nurse (RN) position is located at a healthcare facility. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. It requires utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, developing care plans, executing patient care, and evaluating patient responses. The nurse will also document clinical activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and promote positive patient outcomes.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification. No minimum years of experience specified, but experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area is preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be proficient in caring for medical, oncology, telemetry medical/surgical patients, and able to read telemetry strips. The position requires every other weekend and holiday rotations, and the candidate must be based at NCMC with potential to support other campuses as needed.
