Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located at a healthcare facility, provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring medical and surgical interventions. This role involves assessments, implementing care plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient recovery and safety in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim license, or a compact license. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area is desired. Clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area must be maintained through annual validations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification is also preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be proficient in caring for medical, oncology, and telemetry medical-surgical patients. Must be able to read tele strips. Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
