Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in an acute care setting specializing in complex abdominal surgeries, plastics, ENT, and orthopedic procedures. This position requires a highly skilled nurse capable of managing busy, Level 1 trauma cases, with a focus on postoperative and surgical patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description: Focus on major abdominal surgeries, plastics, ENT, and orthopedic procedures. Support surgical patients with an emphasis on abdominal surgeries, including complex cases like Whipple procedures. Be prepared to float to various units, including cardiac care, requiring experience with cardiac drips.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Education: minimum of 2 years of experience; Must be licensed to submit; Location Requirements: ability to work in an acute care hospital; Experience: 2+ years of current, relevant experience.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, including every other weekend and first to float.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have previous experience in a busy hospital environment, with travel experience preferred. Successful candidates will have worked in similar fast-paced, high-acuity settings, and will be flexible with scheduling. Charting must be performed using EPIC.
