Job Summary
Television (Telemetry) Nurse in an acute care facility, available in the designated healthcare provider. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care on a busy Level 1 Trauma unit, with responsibilities including interpreting EKG strips, managing critical patients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient transitions.

Job Details

• Position: Telemetry Nurse
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Clock-in starts at 6:38 AM, with a 30-minute lunch and clock-out at 7:15 PM.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certification; NIHSS certification; valid RN license; experience in a busy hospital environment; core competencies in reading EKGs, blood administration, and critical decision-making; minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cystic Fibrosis and Sickle Cell patients; strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Responsibilities: Managing high-acuity patients, interpreting telemetry data, assisting with wound care, and providing immediate response to patient condition changes. Must be proficient with telemonitoring systems and capable of performing complex patient assessments.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible on scheduling and willing to float to other acuity floors as needed. Experience with EPIC charting system and working in a Level 1 Trauma setting is desired. The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and ends on 11/30/2026.
