Job Details

• Position Title: Telemetry Nurse
• Location: Asheville, NC
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, telemetry competency, and current nursing license; no minimum years of experience required.
• Responsibilities: Managing 6-7 patients depending on the shift, performing procedures such as wound vacs, tube feeds, and managing urinary and biliary drains, along with administering IV antibiotics and heparin drips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with urology and bowel patient populations, proficiency in managing telemetries, and positive, energetic personality.
• Additional Information: Candidates without telemetry competency and urology or bowel experience will not be considered. The unit utilizes Telemetry, PCA, wound vacs, Baxter IV pumps, TPN, tube feeds, urinary catheters, among other equipment.
• Dress Code: Navy blue pants, navy or white scrub top, and jacket (if needed), with a white undershirt. No sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, coats, or jackets.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift.
