Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nursing position is located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care for critically ill patients, including assessment, documentation, and supporting the full spectrum of emergency and routine care. The position requires a strong focus on patient safety, professionalism, and teamwork to ensure the highest quality of care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/02/2026 and ending on 01/30/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred, RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with 1 year ICU experience.
• Additional Information: Performs thorough assessments, supports patient testing, and evaluates pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness. Demonstrates knowledge of emergent procedures and documentation guidelines, and actively participates in patient education and safety initiatives. Contributes to team efforts by prioritizing patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Responsibility and Accountability: Assumes responsibility for directing patient care, ensuring safety, and maintaining confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Duties Specific to ICU RN: Supports completion of patient testing, evaluates pre-admission testing orders, and supports patients' understanding of procedures through education. Assesses patient reactions and understanding during pre-operative and post-operative phases, adapting care accordingly.
• Skills: PATIENT ASSESSMENT, DIRECT PATIENT CARE, EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT AND PROCEDURES, DOCUMENTATION, NURSING CARE
• Physical Requirements: As defined by Occupational Safety/OMSSchedule Notes: 7p - 7a High Acuity SDU/Must have ICU experience.
• Experience Requirement: 0 years minimum.
