Job Summary
Endoscopy Lab Specialist Outpatient, Day Shift This position involves working in the endoscopy laboratory within a healthcare facility, supporting advanced gastrointestinal procedures and sedation services. The role requires experience with pre-operative and post-operative patient care, as well as proficiency in minimal access and moderate sedation techniques.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association); Compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Education Requirements: Valid RN license.
• Location Requirements: Not specified.
• Years of Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, four days per week, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include supporting procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, dilations, and management of food impactions, with emphasis on pre/post-operative care, conscious sedation, and advanced GI cases. Attendance on call rotation is required, involving 1-2 weekends per contract and holiday shifts on rotation. Call response time is 45-60 minutes.
• Additional Information: The position is within a unit featuring 10 procedure rooms, with a focus on outpatient care. Candidates should have experience in conscious sedation, pre and post-procedure care, and advanced gastrointestinal procedures. No floating required. Scrubs are supplied by the facility. Unit orientation provided.
