Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Location not specified. This position requires an experienced RN to provide acute patient care in the emergency setting. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, administering treatments, and developing patient care plans while adhering to all applicable standards and regulations.

Job Details:

Required Qualifications: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and either Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nurse Specialist Certification (TNS). Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and meet education verification standards.
Schedule: Day shift with a 12-hour shift duration and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, administering medications and treatments, documenting care, performing assessments, developing care plans, participating in quality improvement activities, and supporting patient safety initiatives.
Additional Information: RN may be required to float to other hospital locations within the organization in Illinois. Position starts on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
