Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse Nights Location unspecified. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric care to women before, during, and after childbirth in a community hospital setting. The position requires a strong skillset in labor, delivery, and postpartum patient management, supporting both mother and neonatal health.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact RN license; BLS, ACLS, NCC Certified in Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (C-EFM)all in hand at the time of submission. Medicare and Medicaid certification experience preferred.
• Responsibilities: Administering blood products, managing anticoagulation therapy, assisting with vaginal deliveries, performing perineum and wound care, monitoring fetal heart rates, and providing postpartum discharge teaching. Additional duties include fetal monitoring, epidural management, neonatal assessments, and supporting patients through labor and delivery processes.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring charting system, level I nursery care, and prior community hospital experience.
• Additional Information: Floating within all areas of the labor and delivery department, including mother/baby/postpartum, is required to meet staffing needs. The candidate must be comfortable with all facilitated procedures and team support functions.
