The role requires delivering compassionate patient-centered care, administering inpatient chemotherapy, and supporting patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details

• Location: Tallahassee, Florida
• Position Description: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse responsible for patient care in a dedicated oncology unit, utilizing electronic whiteboards, remote telemetry, and Meditech documentation system.
• Required Qualifications: Must have valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a healthcare-related degree or diploma. No minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend as needed.
• Additional Information: Perform procedures such as inpatient chemotherapy; work with advanced equipment and technology; and adhere to unit policies and guidelines. Hourly rounds required on day shift and after 9 pm.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology-specific certification (e.g., ONS chemo training) is highly desirable.
