Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) Shelby, NC. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care on a 32-bed unit within a Level 3 Trauma and Stroke Center. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, including post-operative cases, medical overflow, and other acute diagnoses, following standard protocols in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: RN - Medical Surgical with Telemetry.
• Location: Shelby, NC.
• Shift and Hours: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; graduate or higher degree in Nursing; valid North Carolina license; minimum 18 months of current Med/Surg/Telemetry experience; willingness to float within region and scope of practice.
• Support and Equipment: Utilizes EPIC electronic medical records; monitors include Phillips; patient care involves cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound care, drain/tube management, PIV and central line management, and administration of cardiac drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 2 days on the department and unit. Staff will participate in a weekend rotation every other week, may be called back for low census, and work holidays with the arrangement of up to 6 days off (excluding holidays). Scrub color is Navy; parking is free. Floating: Float rotation may be required.
