Job Summary
An Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a healthcare facility in the specified location. This position involves managing patient care within the interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center, with responsibilities including assessments, administering treatments, and contributing to performance improvement activities. The role requires working day shifts and participating in an on-call rotation that includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details

Position: Interventional Radiology (IR) RN Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) specialty
Location: Not specified working at a healthcare facility with trauma and interventional services
Certifications and Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; active Illinois registered nurse license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications at the time of submission
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of RN experience including 1 year of critical care experience; cardiovascular intervention experience required
Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, with on-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois RN license, current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, graduated from an accredited nursing program, and relevant clinical experience in critical care and cardiovascular intervention
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center, proficiency in conducting EKG testing, and familiarity with department performance improvement activities
Additional Information: The nurse utilizes clinical expertise to support patient safety, participates in professional development, and assists in clinical and operational tasks related to interventional radiology care.
