Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Encompassing Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a healthcare setting, this role provides critical care for patients in a high-acuity environment. The position involves floating between ICU and Progressive Care Units (PCU) across multiple facilities within the region, supporting a collaborative team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Primarily responsible for critical care in the ICU with floating to PCU, supporting patient needs with a focus on critical care diagnosis and treatments. The role is primarily based at the designated medical center but may involve floating throughout Region Two: including additional hospitals within the same healthcare network.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as an RN, at least 2 years of clinical experience in a critical care setting, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, and willingness to wait for license submission.
  • Schedule: Shifts run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with 12-hour shift hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must possess strong clinical skills in ICU environments, managing various ICU level drips, vents, and critical patient conditions. Experience with Epic electronic charting system is preferred. Orientation will include a minimum of two shifts with an educator.
