An ORT (Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician) position is available in Evanston, IL. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a hospital environment, primarily working day shifts with on-call duties. Job Details

• Location: Evanston, IL
• Position Description: Surgical Technician supporting the operating room team with various surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile environment.
• Required Qualifications: Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 2+ years of experience with Epic electronic health record system. Experience in plastics, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, or neuro is preferred but not required.
• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotating day off.
• On-Call Requirements: On-call shifts are scheduled, with four shifts within a six-week cycle, must be within 30 minutes of the hospital.
• Submission Requirements: Credentials are due the Thursday prior to the start date.
• Start Date: 10/18/2026
• End Date: 01/17/2027
