Description
Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Night Shift 4th Floor. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, COPD, Covid, pneumonia, strokes post-TNK administration, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and post-surgical recovery. The ICU nurse will deliver high-level patient care within a fast-paced, collaborative environment at the organization.
Job Details
- Position Description: Managed care on a mixed ICU unit (medical and cardiovascular) with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3-4 depending on acuity.
- Required Qualifications: WA or Compact Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 2 years of ICU experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift from 19:00 to 07:30, 36 hours per week, for a duration starting 10/26/2026 through 01/04/2027.
- Additional Responsibilities: Manage ICU drips (sedation, vasoactive medications, paralytics), interpret monitors, manage patient care including post-cardiac arrest recovery and overflow from cath lab.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Preferred Qualifications: CRRN, PCCN certifications, experience with managing Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, and immediate open heart recovery care are preferred.
- Other notes: Must be flexible, team-oriented, with EPIC system experience preferred. Candidates must track and log hours for modules and have them approved by a manager.
