Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing acute care for diverse patient conditions in a fast-paced emergency environment, with a focus on trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, quality patient care.
Job Details
- Position: ER Nurse Emergency Room Specialty in a hospital setting
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Location Requirements: Able to submit license to practice
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in emergency nursing
- Responsibilities include managing patients with diagnoses such as abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injury, and extremity pain, utilizing common drips such as cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesia medications.
- Additional operational details: May involve float requirements, self-scheduling, and working independently with monitoring equipment.
- Participation in unit orientation and adherence to hospital policies regarding shift cancellations and dress code is expected.
