Job Summary
The Los Angeles area healthcare facility is seeking an ICU Float Nurse. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the intensive care unit, supervising and directing nursing staff, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires flexibility across various ICU settings and adherence to established standards of care.
Job Details
- Position: ICU Float Nurse Intensive Care Unit Float
- Location: Los Angeles area
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; 0 years of experience needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care settings; EPIC electronic medical record system experience
- Responsibilities: Collects relevant data, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, evaluates patient progress, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, provides patient and family education, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: The position requires compliance with all vaccination policies and participation in E-Verify.
