Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the area. This position involves scrub and circulate duties in a high-volume, Level 1 trauma, academic medical center. The role requires versatile experience across multiple surgical specialties, supporting various service lines including orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, general surgery, colorectal, oncologic, gynecological, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid professional licensure, level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required, with 5+ years of relevant operating room experience preferred.
- Schedule: Evening shift, 10-hour shifts from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Assisting in all surgical procedures within the operating room setting, including scrub and circulating duties, and supporting a wide range of service lines, including pediatric and ophthalmologic surgeries.
- Additional Information: Applicants should be capable of floating throughout the hospital as needed, with a well-rounded surgical background for day shift applicants and comprehensive service line experience for off-shift applicants.
