Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Wenatchee, WA. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating closely with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. The role requires adherence to hospital policies, standards, and legal guidelines governing nursing practice.
Job Details
- Required to have a Washington State / Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Required to maintain active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards; developing, implementing, and reassessing individualized care plans.
- Providing nursing care such as medication administration, procedures, and treatments; evaluating discharge plans for appropriateness and patient education needs.
- Accurately documenting assessments, care, interventions, and responses; collecting patient information to ensure safety and quality.
- Performing ongoing holistic assessments and responding to findings; executing appropriate nursing actions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
- Educating patients and families on health information and sharing educational materials in a timely manner.
- Maintaining current knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and hospital protocols; delegating tasks and overseeing care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
- Participating in performance improvement activities and communicating effectively within the healthcare team.
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment according to hospital and unit policies.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Must develop and maintain an active Washington State / Compact RN licensure and current certifications as outlined.
- Candidates should be available to start on 10/26/2026 with an end date of 01/24/2027.
