Job Summary
Mother/Baby Nurse Mother/Baby Couplet Care Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a 24-bed Mother/Baby unit within a 270-bed healthcare facility. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs and support the care transition for newborns and postpartum mothers.

Job Details

Position Description: Mother/Baby Nursing with experience in newborn transition care. Orientation scheduled for 12/7 and 12/14; no orientations during the weeks of 12/21 and 12/28. Must work two of three holidays.
Qualifications: Certifies in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); holds a Compact or Tennessee nursing license; experience with in newborn transition care is essential; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; prior travel experience required.
Schedule: 12-hour days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Assist with newborn transition and postpartum care, support staff float to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Labor & Delivery (L&D) as needed, utilize Cerner and GE Centricity electronic medical records.
Start Date: 12/14/2026
End Date: 03/13/2027
Additional Information: Must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit and work weekends. No call required.
