Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist Verdugo Hills Hospital, located in the Los Angeles area, is seeking a highly skilled health care professional for an upcoming traveler assignment. This role involves providing critical surgical support within a busy OR environment, with scheduled evening shifts and on-call responsibilities. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence at a reputable facility.

Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Start Date: 11/09/2026
End Date: 01/17/2027
Required Qualifications: Certification: NBSTSA; Education: Relevant healthcare certification; Experience: Minimum 1 year travel experience and 5+ years in specialty areas including Robotics, Orthopedic Joint, General, or Urology; EMR Experience: CERNER; Specialty Experience: Strong in Robotics, Orthopedic, General, Urology
Additional Requirements: Travel experience, specialty experience, and certification as noted above. Candidates must be very strong in the specified specialties and have prior travel experience.
Schedule Details: 5x8s Mid/Evenings; 1100-1930; no set day off. On-call required: up to 2 weekday calls and 2 weekend calls per month, with quick response time within 30 minutes.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior successful assignments at the same facility are preferred.
Additional Information: Travel pairs are not suitable; candidates must work different schedules/days. COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccination is required during flu season (Nov 1April 30). Candidates must be available for holiday work during Christmas and New Years.
