This Medical Surgical Nurse position involves providing high-quality patient care within a short-term acute care setting. The role requires managing diverse patient diagnoses, including trauma and postoperative cases, while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week. Start date: 11/23/2026 with an end date of 02/22/2027.
• Required Qualifications: RN license in MO, IL, or applicable compact state; BSN degree preferred; minimum of 5 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing; experience with trauma, ED, OR, or ICU settings; ability to pass Relias EKG exam, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; certifications: BCLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Pass Relias EKG exam; manage patient care involving blood product administration, IV starts, wound care, trauma recovery, and related procedures; utilize specialized equipment including lifts, wound vacs, external fixators, and monitor patients with trauma and complex injuries.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level I facilities and critical care procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to start on 11/23/2026 and finish by 02/22/2027, with no more than 7 days of requested RTO.
